First, understand the process clearly. You have to submit an Expression of Interest or EOI and then wait to be invited to apply for the visa. You must be nominated by a State or Territory Government as part of the process. Only then can you submit your visa application.
Second, which visa is right for you? What are your circumstances and what are you trying to achieve in the future in Australia? There are different visa subclasses and criteria for permanent and provisional residence.
Third, make sure you understand the timeframes that will apply to you. You only have 60 days from the date of invitation to submit your application.you also don’t want to lose points by missing any age deadlines.
Fourth, be realistic about the points you claim. If you can’t provide evidence about the points you claim your application can be refused.
