How To Avoid Having Your 494 Or 491 Subclass Visa Cancelled

March 16, 2020 News

Firstly, make sure you live and work in regional Australia at all times.

Secondly, you can change employers on a 494 visa if you remain in the same occupation. If you are changing occupation, a new application may be required.

Thirdly, understand that the Department is going to take the new requirements seriously and police them. You will come unstuck if you don’t adhere to your visa conditions.

Fourthly, you can move geographical areas in Australia as long as you remain in regional Australia. You don’t have to stay in the same regional location as where you started. With these new conditions attached to 491 and 494 visas, you will need expert guidance not just when you apply for the visa but throughout the years before you apply for PR.
