Australian citizenship is the goal of many people. Let’s talk a little about it now.

Australian citizenship & an Aussie passport are highly prized by our clients and the long-term plan of their move to Australia. People arrive on temporary and permanent residence visas and then have to meet the eligibility criteria for citizenship.

You have to live in Australia for a total of 4 years and at least 1 of those 4 years has to be as a permanent resident to be eligible for citizenship. Time spent on visitor visas does not count.

There is a citizenship test and interview as part of the process. Once the citizenship is approved then you need to attend a ceremony for it to be formally conferred to you. Once you have the citizenship then you can apply for the Aussie passport.
