The Do’s and Don’ts of applying for General Skills Migration
First, don’t claim points you can’t support with evidence. This could mean your application is refused.
Second, do sit an English Language test, even if your first language is English as you can maximise your points.
Third, don’t submit an EOI without a skills assessment and English test results. You need to have these to know where you stand beforehand.
Finally, do fully investigate your option to apply for Visa Subclasses 189, 190 and 489. You need to ensure you are taking all the right steps. Getting the right advice at the right time is always a good idea with General Skills Migration applications.
